G-mix is Genest’s proprietary low-carbon concrete formula, engineered to support informed, environmentally focused architectural specification prioritizing low-carbon and durable materials.
Developed through decades of concrete manufacturing expertise, G-mix uses at least 5% recycled content and significantly less cement than traditional concrete — delivering a measurable reduction in embodied carbon while still exceeding ASTM C90 requirements for concrete masonry units.
All products manufactured with G-mix are produced under strict quality control for consistency in strength and finish. When specified, G-mix supports sustainable design goals while maintaining confidence in structural reliability, durability, and appearance.
To support rigorous documentation needs, Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for G-mix masonry products are published through ASTM, providing transparent, third-party verified environmental performance data that can be referenced in design submittals and sustainability models.
